Yeah, that's right kids! It's ME!!
Decided it was time I made the time to get something posted. Then I get here, check my comments, and what the hell?? Why would anyone leave a comment here, of all places, about adult content on msn blogs? Or whatever the complaint was. Frankly, until I read that comment, I wasn't aware the age of consent to have a blog here was 18... lord knows I've read several that most definitely were not written by 18 year olds, lol. Anyway, my point of view is that if you can't watch what your kids are doing on the internet, and they're at an impressionable age, then they don't need to be on. Plain and simple.

Okay... so, what have I been up to? Well, let me tell ya....  the 'flat' is all unpacked and looking and feeling 'homey' now. I started a new job last Friday as an assistant manager at a gas station eight minutes from the homestead, liking it very much, thank you. As with any job, there's always one person who makes your skin crawl, and this one is no different. Thing is, this is work I've done before, so it's all just a matter of re-learning.

The boy has decided he doesn't want to come down for Thanksgiving. Bummin. His birthday is that weekend. So, right now, the plan is to drive up there to see him. Get a much earlier start this time than we did the last time tho... and without a trailer it'll be an easier ride, too. Anyway, he's getting totally spoiled. This needs to come to an end. So I need to have a talk with the father figure. Also, need to get some more of my stuff, too.

And here's a funny. Kinda sorta. Me and Mr Wonderful are getting along better than ever now. We usually talk on the phone a couple times a week. He's putting my stuff in storage that I wasn't able to bring with me on the last trip (him and the boy are  moving into an apartment this weekend and the house is going on the market) and he's even paying for the first  couple months rent on the storage unit! Guess he's trying to prove he's a 'nice guy'. Too little, too late.

As for me and B... ahh, life is good! I think we're still in the 'awe' stage... you know, when you look at the person you're living with and you think "wow. is this real?" So far we've managed to not piss each other off, so we're on a good roll, lol. His dad asked me if we've had our first fight yet... too funny. When B says he gets his humor from his dad... yep, yep, yep. His sister is just as crazy and fun as they are.

Anyhow, just wanted to let y'all know that all is well. Now I'm gonna go check out a couple blogs here and there, go read a couple e mails, call it a morning.

Hey y'all.... just want to let everyone know I made it just fine and dandy. I'm at the library right now, checking a million e mails, the ol' blog... will have internet at home soon, just in no hurry.  Been way too busy the past couple weeks anyhow. WAY too busy, lol.. and no...not just sex (although I'll bet that's what B has people believing, lol). Anyhow, safe, sound, happy.
Have two entries all set to go, both concerning leaving Detroit.. the first time, then this last time...but not the LAST time, lol, I will be going back.
